Katherine's Hope

I just want to take the time to update everyone on Katherine's condition.  Katherine and her family have hit a brick wall in the last few weeks.  Katherine has not been able to continue her Hyperbaric Oxygen treatments due to her medical benefits expiring.

Her mother Beatriz, has been out of work since Katherine lost her benefits because they no longer have home health services.  The cost for the transportation to Ocean Neurology Center has increased to $3500 a month. 

The nursing facility has advised me that they will provide Katherine with nurses at the cost of $4200 a week.  Right now it is impossible to come up with those funds on a week by week basis. 

Simple things like Ensure milk, gauzes, diapers, wipes, water, are all necessary items that Katherine needs on an everyday basis.  Items that was once covered and terminated when she turned 21 years of age. 

I have no doubts Katherine will get up from her bed and thank everyone herself  one day but until then we need the community to support Katherine and help her out any way possible.
